PERFORMING AT MOJO BURNING
I'm in a rad touring Blues, Roots, Rock or Stoner band, how do I play the Mojo?
If you have done some touring, have a bit of a following and have a set of kick-arse songs then feel free to apply for the Fest next year!
Hit up our APPLICATIONS PAGE. Applications are now open for the 2019 event (close early 2019).
We also have our annual Mojo Burning Band Competition in February with heats to be held in Brisbane (for Sunshine Coast/Toowoomba/Brisbane bands) and on the Gold Coast (for Gold Coast and Northern NSW bands). Entry is now closed but head along to Netherworld in Brisbane or Mo's Desert Clubhouse in Burleigh for the band comps through Feb! Some epic bands in the mix.
ETHOS OF THE FESTIVAL
We're not a large business conglomerate... at the core of Mojo Burning is a small group of people who tour in the scene, help book the scene, promote our favourite bands and generally want to help start an industry shift towards recognition for bands in the BLUES ROCK ROOTS STONER genres. We'd very much appreciate your support in this!
If you have any feedback, suggestions, offers of sponsorship or assistance to help out as a volunteer, please get in touch. Kampai!
