We also have our annual Mojo Burning Band Competition in early 2020 with heats to be held in Brisbane at Ivory Tusk (Woolly Mammoth) (for Sunshine Coast/Toowoomba/Brisbane bands) and on the Gold Coast at Mo's Desert Clubhouse (for Gold Coast and Northern NSW bands) through February. Entry application to these heats is NOW OPEN via EMAIL. Always some epic bands in the mix. Previous winners include Street Pieces, Stoker, Rinser and Blue Savannah Underworld.
ETHOS OF THE FESTIVAL
We're not a large business conglomerate... at the core of Mojo Burning is a small group of people who tour in the scene, help book the scene, promote our favourite bands and generally want to help start an industry shift towards recognition for bands in the BLUES ROCK ROOTS STONER genres. We'd very much appreciate your support in this!
If you have any feedback, suggestions, offers of sponsorship or assistance to help out as a volunteer, please get in touch. Kampai!
